Experience a Beautiful Treehouse Cabana Soaking Tub Spa

Looking for a relaxing spa experience in the mountains of North Carolina?! Well, look no further. Lakeview at Fontana is a paradise retreat that boasts beautiful mountain views and lake views. It is located near the Great Smokey Mountains about an hour from Asheville. Here you will feel as though you’ve transported to a quaint European town with a boutique café, outdoor tables, firepits, and more.

The real treat, however, is their Treehouse Cabana Soaking Tub experience. Doesn’t that just sound relaxing?! Their treehouses have a stunning view of the lake below and the surrounding mountains! *insert heart eyes*

I’ve provided everything you need to know about this resort and their unique and magical treehouse soaking experience below:

Experience the Soaking Tubs

Lakeview at Fontana features (2) Treehouse Cabana Soaking Tub that are nestled in the woods and overlooking the lake below. You can reserve one of the treehouse cabins for a Soaking spa experience – it is truly unlike anything you’ve ever experienced! In fact, it’s hard to believe this beautiful paradise is here in NC!

To get to the treehouses, you’ll walk up a short flight of stairs from the parking area, then on a short dirt path through the woods where you will find your treehouse! This means you’ll have full privacy in your treehouse retreat!

The treehouses are equipped with a large soaking tub, lounge seating, robes, towels, and luxury bath soaps. The treehouses also have a small restroom (toilet & sink). Each appointment is 90 minutes long and perfect for solo travelers, couples, or a pair of friends (maximum of 2 guests). The best part about this – the tub is large enough to fit 2 people so you can share your time together! Or, if you’d rather alternative, there is plenty of room to relax in the provided lounge seating.

Things to note: guests must be 18+ years old, guests must be able to walk up stairs and on a short dirt path (not wheelchair accessible), there is no staff present during your 90 minute experience unless you call them, and there is a small chance that your experience could get canceled due to severe inclement weather

My Personal Experience at the Treehouse Cabana Soaking Tub

I recently visited Lakeview at Fontana to experience the Soaking Experience firsthand – and wow, I was completely mesmerized! My boyfriend and I were blown away by the beautiful views in front of us and luxurious accommodations within the treehouse. We immediately jumped in the soaking tub and relaxed with the provided bath salts that smelled of lavender.

On a cool spring day, like the one we had, we opted for a hot soaking bath. This kept us nice and warm, but we also had the option of turning on an electric heater right above the bath if needed! However, if you’re visiting in the hotter months, you can opt for a cooling bath.

You’ll be surprised how quickly 90 minutes can go by when you’re relaxing in your own private Treehouse Cabana Soaking Tub with nothing but beautiful views around you. I could have stayed in this little paradise for hours!

What is Included in the Soaking Experience

Each soaking experience is 90 minutes long and includes the below items:

  • 2 Robes for use in the treehouse
  • 2 Turkish Towels for use in the treehouse
  • Bath Salts & Lotions
  • Champagne & Chocolate
